TAS5508C: PWM on clock error

Part Number: TAS5508C

Hello

My customer is using TAS5508C for their product.

When input source was changed, clock error will be occur, and small pop is heard from speaker even no music.

I attach the capture.

They set 0x04 PWM Automute = disabled.

They set 0x03 =90h or 80h ( Hard/soft unmute from clock error ), but pop is not changed ( not reduced).

Q1

In case clock error,TAS5508C automoatically stop the PWM (PWM_P_x, PWM_M_x) inherently?

Can we keeo PWM  running even clock error to set any register.?

Q2

If Q1 were no ,would you please give us any idea to let PWM stop/start gradually in case clock error?

To set soft unmute from clock error using 0x03 was not effective..

Please advise
