Hi,

I have some questions for 3-Band DRC, so could you please give me your advice ?

1. 1-Band DRC
Should 2-Band DRC(e.g. : Mid/High Band) be turned off as below if using 1-Band DRC only ?

2. Mute Feature
Does "Solo" button mean that 1-Band DRC is only used ?
In addition, could you please tell me the difference between "OFF" button and "Mute" button ?

3. Key Button Feature
What does "key" button mean as below ?
Could you please tell me the feature for "key" button ?

4. DRC Threshold
Is my understanding correct that the output signal clipped when inputting more than -15dBFS as the input signal if setting -3dB to DRC threshold, +5dB to EQ gain and +7dB to volume ?

    Hi Kato,

    See my answers below.

    1.  See the screenshot below if you want to convert a 3-Band DRC to 1-Band DRC.

    2.  The Solo button is used when customers fine-tune the DRC parameters for one particular band (like low-band) during a listening test. When the Solo button is clicked, the other two bands will be disabled.

    The DRC mixer gain will be set to 0 when the mute button is clicked.  However, when the OFF button is clicked, not only the DRC mixer gain will be set to 0, but also the user DRC configurations will be overwritten by default settings.  

    3.  See the screenshot below.

    4. Your understanding is correct. However, I would suggest you double check using an AP.
