TPA3255EVM: Question regarding EVM board

Hi,

I have a few questions regarding the TPA3255 EVM board

1) Is there a power supply design other than the PMP10215 by TI I can use for the TPA3255? I had the PMP10215 manufactured but it now looks like using it only for the TPA3255 is over kill. Any advice regarding this would be greatly appreciated.

2) I would like to change the connectors from RCA and binding posts to terminal blocks, does TI have software for importing the gerber files, editing the PCB design and exporting new gerber files? If TI does not have one, is there software you could recommend using?

3) I am struggling to find information on the function of J28 on the TPA 3255 EVM board.

Hi Andre,
I'm sorry that we are not the expert in the power supply design. You could post the first question in the power supply forum, and the TI power supply application expert will give you the professional suggestion.
As far as I know, TI don't have this kind of tool/software that converts gerber to PCB unfortunately.

2) Our board designs are done in Altium, I have attached the project files for the EVM.

3. The J28 connector is detailed in the Audio Plugin Modules User Guides, links to the Audio Plugin Modules can be found in the TPA3255 Tools and Software tab. One example is the Prototype Audio Plug-in Module
