Could PCM2707C support I2S input and USB output audio ?

Could PCM2707C support I2S input and USB output audio ? If not, are there any other solution that could convert Analog or I2S input and USB output ?

Hi Rocson,

To my knowledge, we do not have this capability with our PCM products. You could check with some of the embedded teams, as this could possibly be implemented with a DSP. I am not aware of a EP product that does this natively.

BTW, so for PCM2707C, the USB is just input, while the I2S is output, as the Figure 7 application block in spec ?

And how about PCM2912A ? Is it suitable for this application request ?
It seems it's with MIC input and USB output .

The PCM2912A features a USB output and an analog microphone input, not a I2S as you requested.

Yes, actually customer application is converting the Analog Mic input, to USB interface output, it seems PCM2912A is exactly fit ?

Why talking about I2S input to USB output is before I find PCM2912A, and thinking adding one ADC for MIC analog input to I2S, and using one I2S to USB converter.

Could you help double confirm and suggest if PCCM2912A is most suitable solution here for TI ? And is there any AEC-Q100 device ?

Hi Rocson,

PCM2912A would be a very suitable part as this is one of the only USB codecs w mic bias, uPhone amp and input PGA...Since you mentioned the customer has mic input, this would be a good device with most of the functionality integrated. PCM2904 would be the only other device but it will not have mic input support as it takes line input for the ADC.

As far as Q100 qualified parts go, unfortunately none of the Audio USB converter portfolio has gone through the qualification and hence we do not have AEC-Q100 devices in this family.
