[FAQ] TLV320AIC CODECs: Windows 7 Compatibility of TLV320AIC EVMs

Newer EVMs (~2007+)

The EVM User Guides for the devices below have been updated to include instructions on how to use these EVMs under Windows 7. Click a device, open the User Guide and search "Windows 7".

 For the devices below, the EVM firmware must be V2.03 or above to be Windows 7 compatible. If the EVM has an older firmware version than V2.03 or the EEPROM is corrupted, follow the steps here:  https://e2e.ti.com/support/audio/f/6/p/773576/2861816#2861816  The DFU drivers are now (finally!) Windows 7 compatible.

For the EVMs below, download the USB-MODEVM Windows XP/Vista/7 Driver. Also, be sure to right click the software shortcut, click properties and set in Windows XP compatibility mode (or run as administrator).
