Hi,

I have gone through the datasheet of TAS2555/TAS2557 devices. As it has internal DSP core with some algorithms to protect the load (speaker), if I want to load my own DSP algorithms can you please help us...

We want to port our own DSP algorithms as it is different application and trying to implement in to TAS2555/TAS2557.

If we able to succeed the porting, we can buy the chips in bulk order (million/year).

Hi Luis,
My project application is Audio to haptics generation…
We are looking for the smart amplifier with DSP core and current sensing capabilities (I2S/ analog audio).
And we should be able to port our own DSP algorithms to DSP core in smart amplifier (any how this project goes in production large scale).

Can you please look into the devices TAS2555 or TAS2557.
And shall we have a small conversation regarding this project?

Hi, Sreedhara,

Thank you for providing more details of your requirements.

Both the TAS2555 and TAS2557 support our Smart Amp algorithm. This algorithm allows current sensing capabilities (I2S and analog audio as you mentioned) and it allows to characterize and get the speaker parameters for its protection. This configuration can be made with the help of our PurePath Console Software, which is a graphical interface for fully configuration of the device.
