  • Hi AJ,

I find three proposals in the description but I have no idea what is your projects' requriements. It is hard for me to evaluate three solutioins.
Can you clarify more details about your project spec?

Further, can you evaluate TAS5805 for this case and I think it is better.

    Regards,
    Alix Wan.
  • Hi AJ,

Guess your system is possibly high-quality home audio equipment, so we highly recommend to select proposal 1 for better audio performance, such as startup/shutdown pop click control (DAC + AIN device needs main SOC control sequence), noise and THD+N performance (normally main SOC build in DAC might cause performance attenuation, and external DAC increase BOM cost).

What's more, based on your system output power requirements, TAS5825 (woofer) + 2×TAS5805 is the best option, which provides rich DSP processing resource (tons of EQs - crossover + pop free volume + DRC + AGL), good audio performance (cost-effective), and also advanced features for future project improvements.

Could you send us an email (matthew-miao@ti.com) about the project background? Then we can closely track the process.

    Rdgs,

    Matthew

  • Dear Matthew.
When I get project information I will share with you by email. Thanks for kindly help~
