TAS5825M: Question of TAS5825 PPC3 Configurations of Ramp Up and Ramp Down Rates

Would you please advise if there is option in PPC3 to configure the TAS5825's ramp up and ramp down rates to avoid pop noise during music transactions as the diagram below?

Hi Wayne,

You want to modify the default settings of Register 0x4E and Register 0x4F in the TAS5825M PPC3 GUI, right?

Hi Wayne,

No specific conern with maximum ramp time value. What's more, it will take long time to add this control with PPC3 due to default configuration is enough for most customers.

Please manually add this configuration script into final integrated version.

Hello Mattew,

The TAS5825 PPC3 does not program the 0x4E and 0x4F registers, which leave the configurations in default. Would you please advise the right location to rework the 0x4E and 0x4F registers? Please also advise your recommended value to make the slowest ramp rate for testing.

Hi Wayne,

As mentioned, general released PPC3 does not support option to configure ramp up/down rate. We suggest using Direct I2C window to manually write down script, and then add this script to the final dump file.
