TAS5760L: The delay need between the SPK_SD and unmute

Part Number: TAS5760L

Hi team,

My customer follow the sequence as the datasheet.

But there is some sharp sound when they pull high and pull low the SPK_SD pin.

So we suspect it's because there may need a delay between pull SPK_SD and unmute channel, also mute channel and pull SPK_SD low.

Can you help comment the possible cause and help to check if the delay is needed.

Lacey

Thanks a lot!

  • Hi Lacey,

I think scope including SPK_SD and output+/- waveform will help us understand this abnormal scenario.
As usually, TAS5760 will have ramp up and ramp down control after unmute/mute operation. Hence, I would recommend you to capture the scope
    and do some analysis.

If you think adding some delay may help to solve this issue, please do the tests. I will help to analyze it with your scopes.
