TLV320AIC3105: Bypass Path Mode

Hi Team,

My customer is considering to use TLV320AIC3105 under the following Bypass Path Modes,
Could you review whether each bypass path mode is feasible?

Mode-1)
1. (a) Monaural microphone signal is inputted into MIC1L/LINE1L, it is amplified by PGA, it is bypassed ADC and digital block, and it is done volume control at output mixer block
2. (b) Monaural CD radio signal is inputted into MIC2R/LINE2R, it is bypassed PGA and digital block, and it is done volume control at output mixer block.

3. Mixing #1 and #2 signal by output mixer block, and outputted by monaural audio signal

Mode-2)
1. During Mode-1 operation, the (a) monaural microphone signal amplified by PGA is converted into digital data by ADC as LCH audio data.
2. During Mode-1 operation, the (b) monaural CD radio signal amplified by PGA is converted into digital data by ADC as RCH audio data.
3. During Mode-1 operation, #1 and #2 L/R digital audio signals are outputted by audio serial bus I/F.

Mode-3)
1.  The (a) monaural microphone signal is muted.
2. The (b) monaural CD radio signal is muted.
3. L/R digital audio signals inputted into audio serial bus I/F are converted into analog audio signals by DAC, L/R signals are mixed by output mixer block, and it is outputted as monaural audio signal.

Mode-4)
1. The (a) monaural microphone signal is muted.
2. The (b) monaural CD radio signal is bypassed PGA and digital block, and it is done volume control at output mixer block.
3. L ch digital audio signal which is inputted into audio serial bus I/F is converted into analog audio signal, and it is done volume control at output mixer block.
4. #2 and #3 signals are mixed by output mixer block, and it is outputted as monaural audio signal.

Mode-5)
1. The (a) monaural microphone signal is amplified by PGA, it is bypassed ADC and digital block, and it is done volume control at output mixer block.
2. The (b) monaural CD radio signal is muted.
3. R ch digital audio signal which is inputted into audio serial bus I/F is converted into analog audio signal, and it is done volume control at output mixer block.
4. #1 and #3 signals are mixed by output mixer block, and it is outputted as monaural audio signal.
