TPA2005D1: TPA2005D1 about GAIN setting

Part Number: TPA2005D1

Dear,

our client use TPA2005D1 and SPK 8ohm as below schematic, and we fine tune R232 and R234  to verify GAIN.

VIN=5V

SPK=8ohm / 1.2W

Now we have question, if we change R232 and R234, from 150k to 51K, SPK could be burned out?

if any suggestion, Please advise me.

Thanks,

Best regards,

Lawrence.

  • Hi, Lawrence,

    There won't be any issue if you replace the resistors from 150K to 51K. Actually, the device supports input resistors down to 15K.

    If the 51k resistor is used, the you would modify the gain from 2V/V to ~6V/V.

    Please let me know if you have questions or comments on this.

    Best regards,
