PCM5252: Suitable USB to I2S bridge to Power PCM5252

Hi E2E,

Good day,

We have a customer asking for a suitable USB to I2S  bridge to power our PCM5252, but he could not find any that would not bottleneck it´s high bandwidth.
Do we have a component to meet this need?

    Hi Art,

    TI does not have a dedicated device for this function.  I believe we have some DSPs that would be able to do this (C6000), but to my knowledge there is not an example reference design implementing it.  We use an XMOS asic to act as the USB-I2S bridge in many of our EVMs.  In addition I have seen the C-Media CM6631 used for this as well.
