TAS2505: About Electrical Characteristics in TAS2505 data sheet

Hello,


There is a description of "Power down POR, / RST held low, AVDD = 1.8V, IOVDD = 1.8 V, SPKVDD = 4.2 V, DVDD = 1.8 V" in the Device setup line of SHUTDOWN POWER CONSUMPTION.
Is the current consumption in each part the values shown in the table by controlling / RST to low with all power supplies turned on?

    If you are referring to this table above found in the Electrical Characteristics of the datasheet

    Yes, the values as seen in the table are with the power supplies turned on to the given voltages and the power down POR (power-on reset) and /RST held low.

    In the response SHUTDOWN POWER CONSUMPTION, even if the operation is as follows, is the current consumption set to the value in the table by setting / RST = low at the end?
    If the current consumption does not decrease with this control, what kind of control should I do?

    1. Turn on all power supplies and set / RST = high.
    2. Perform normal operations (register control and communication with the CPU).
    3. Set / RST = low.

    Did you disable POR? The function consumes approximately 35 uA from DVDD.

    POR should be disabled, this can be done by setting Page 1, Reg 1, bit D3 =1. 

    Yes the /RST should be held low at the end.

    Are you setting /rst low by the pin or by a software reset using the register bit?

    /RST pin resets I2C, I2S, signal processing and all registers, while SW_RST from register bit resets only the signal processing and all registers but not the digital interfaces.

    The configuration is “Figure 1-2. Typical Circuit Configuration”.
