DRV2700EVM: was not recognized by the Piezo Control Console

Part Number: DRV2700EVM

Hi all, 

I was trying to test the DRV2700EVM following the procedure on the User Manual.

On the GUI, however, the connect button was grey. I tried on Win 7 and Win 10 but none of them recognized the device.

Could you please help me out? Thanks!

    Hi Naomi,

    Welcome to e2e.

    Have you tried to update the firmware of the EVM?
    You can do this from the GUI -> Help -> Firmware Update and then just follow the instructions. Make sure to select the correct version:

    • DRV2700EVM_v1p7 for the conventional EVM
    • DRV2700EVM-HV500_v1p4 for the high voltage flyback  EVM
