LM833: Maximum VCC & Recommended Operating VCC Value

Part Number: LM833

Hi,

We use LM833 to amplify the audio signal with VCC+/VCC- at +18/-18V.

On datasheet,±18V is the recommended operating condition,but also the maximum VCC is ±18V,like below.

So we are worry about our application,is LM833 can work normally at ±18V,and safe?

    Is the Maximun Rating VCC wrong?It's usually higher than Recommended Operating VCC.

    Good observation. I will look into this with the product definition team and update the datasheet if necessary. Circling back to your initial question, +/-18V on this device is okay for operation.
