TAS2562: I2S Glitch

Hi,

We have found BCLK glitch (from 200 to 400mV) on our design. The I2S signals are from audio codec to TAS2562. This problem seems to only occur on one batch in a specific use case. We woud like to ask for some opinions on the risks.

Hi Yannan,

It should be OK to operate still with this small voltage offset.
As long as the lower voltage level is below VIL it should be OK.

Hi Ivan,

We followed this problem and found the glitch occurs at high volume level status. And the frequency of the glitch is measured around 4MHz, which is the same as the switching frequency of tas2562 in current control mode. We’ve also found the same 4MHz glitch in SPK output( this does not matter).

We’d like to know if you have similar feedback on BCLK glitch caused by boost converter (when setting high volume), is it possibly coupled from PCB or inside the IC? and is there any approach to avoid it?
