PCM1754: Comparison data regarding noise between 128fs and 256 fs

Hello Expert,

My customer would like to know that the specification deference especially noise between MCLK 128fs case and 256fs case.
Datasheet showed THD+N and SNR data but this is 384fs data@44.1kHz and 128fs@192kHz. So they cannot comparing the deference between 128fs and 256fs under the situation that the other parameter is same.

Would you provide the comparison data between 128fs and 256fs regarding noise performance?

Hi Kuramochi-san,

The PCM1754 will enforce a 64x oversample regardless of the SCLK/LRCK ratio. Only the PCM1753 will automatically change the ratio. This means that the THD+N will be the same with either 128×fS or 256×fS. Only the sample rate will change the THD+N performance.
