PUREPATH-CMBEVM: Accessing all the features on the board

I'm using the PPC-MB with both the TAS5825MEVM, and the TAS5825MEVM-SB. It works quite well for the first evaluation module with PurePath Console, but the -SB module doesn't have complete control. The PPC-MB appears to have much more functionality than is available simply through the console application. For instance, it has several user interface buttons, optical output, and a few analog outputs. Since this isn't accessible through the console program, can you educate me on the tool to use to access this level of the PPC-MB? It would be very useful to use this for routing signals around for various testing.

Thanks for that info. I've gone over the user guide in detail, and don't see any information on how to actually change signal routing. PPC3 doesn't have any options to do so. I assume it will require I2C or register changes, but the user guide doesn't give any information on this. Can you help? For instance, can you explain how I would enable the optical output to forward the data from the optical input for daisy chaining?

Also, the user guide mentions that there is an unprogrammed MSP430 chip that can be used for booting without being attached to a computer. There is an SD card slot, but no mention of what to put on there. How do I set this up so the MSP430 can boot the PPC-MB without being attached to a computer?
