TPA3110D2: POP noise when the PA power on

Part Number: TPA3110D2

Hi,friends,

There is little pop noise  when power up.I have used a NMOS to pull down the /SD.But no use.

And I also pulled down the /SD before the PA power on.But no use.

There is a 18ms pulse in /SD when power on.

This is the waveform of  /SD when power on:

This is the schemic diagram:

What should I do to eliminate the pop noise?

  • Hi Teddy,

Do you use Tantalum capacitors on input pins?

I suggest you use Tantalum capacitors.

You can also short the the input pins to ground through 1uF caps, and check if the pop noise gone or reduce. If so, there has noise from audio source.

    Regards,

    Derek
