I want to make a PCM/DSD DAC with PCM1792A. My DSD input source is Amanero USB interface. It uses the same pins for PCM and DSD and provides a digital high signal when DSD is presented on output. I want to use that pin „DSD_ON” to setup D/A chip.:
DSD_ON pin -> uC -> PCM1792A
My concern is that on page 41 of PCM1792A datasheet there is mentioned that DSD input must be set up for the chip before the DSD signal is applied to the input, otherwise the chip will lock up in TDMC mode.
How to tackle this issue? Is uC interruption function fast enough to set up PCM1792A in DSD mode?
