Hi Sir

My customer using aic3104 met thermal issue.

They measure IDRVDD + IAVDD_DAC around 600mA abd aic3104 is heat.

Would you pls help to check HW and Register if there something wrong? Thanks.

reg 37 = 0x0
reg 38 = 0x0
reg 58 = 0x38
reg 72 = 0x38

Hello Ian,

Thanks for reaching out. Is it possible to provide a higher resolution version of the schematic? It is a bit difficult to make out the components when i zoom in. Also, a full register dump would be nice? I see that the DACs are powered off with Reg. 37 = 0x00.

600mA is exceptionally high for a device with no Class-D amplifiers. Is this only happening on one device or multiple?
