TAS6424-Q1: 12.28MHz and multiple noise are radiated

The customer is facing the noise problem. The TAS6424-Q1 seems to radiate 12.28MHz and multiple noise. The customer assumes "PLL and Clock Management" block may be a source of this noise.

(1) Could you give me the operation frequency of PLL clock?
(2) Is there any other suspected noise source?

The I2S clock is 12.28MHz, and another ICs on the same bord operates 12.28MHz or odd times of frequency (3 or 6 times).

Hi Kazuto-san,

Can this issue be reproduced in EVM board, i am thinking that we can try to reproduce this issue for bench analysis with the same condition as yours.

Hence, please help to share all I2S clocks frequency information as well as the configuration information (eg. ppc3 source file or capture of the GUI).

Hi Kazuto,

MCLK is the reference clock of internal PLL. You can ask customer to disconnect MCLK, and check again. If the 12.88MHz is still here, it is not from TAS6424.
