TAS2563: Will TAS2563 I2C Register be Cleared when SDZ Driven Low

Part Number: TAS2563

Hi Sirs,

Will the TAS2563 register be cleared when SDZ driven Low? Is there any option to keep I2C data in hardware shutdown mode or software shutdown mode?

Thank you and Best regards,

Wayne Chen

  • Hello Wayne Chen,

    Yes.

(For Hardware shutdown) From the Shutdown sections of the datasheet, when SDZ driven low, all registers lose states and I2C is disabled; so you have to reinitialize with configuration to start playback again.

(For Software shutdown) If the device is in software shutdown, it will NOT lose I2C or register states. In most sense, it is equivalent to sleep mode.

Let me know if you have further questions.

    Regards,

    Jin Gao
