TLV320ADC6140: Datasheet refers to "input type" on all 4 channels, 0d = Microphone input 1d = Line input. What does this do?

Hello,

At registers 0x3C, 0x41, 0x46, 0x4B bit 7 it allows specification of input type. If I set it to "MIC", what does it do to the configuration?

Hi Jay,

This bit actually has no impact on the behavior of the device. You can choose not to program this bit, or you can use it to keep track of what you have connected to each input.
