TAS2563: Need Suggestions of I2C Configurations for TAS2563 Boost Bypass Mode

Part Number: TAS2563

Hi Sirs,

We have brought up the TAS2563 EVM with switch bypass mode with external 12V power supply with following steps:

1. Shorted L1, L2 (Short VBAT and SW)
2. Shorted TP1 and TP6 (PVDD of px98 and 0x9A devices)
3. Applied 5V adapter to PPC3 MB (as well as VBAT)
4. Applied external power supply to TP1 and TP6 (PVDD)
5. Wrote configurations by PPC3 GUI. The device is functional with no IRQ message.

Here we have a question about optimize the settings of the TAS2563 device:

1. Do we need to configure the device to boost bypass mode by I2C
2. Should we disable boost converter manually as the picture below?
3. What is the optimized setting with no clipping for 13V to 10.5V PVDD?

Thank you and Best regards,

Wayne Chen
