Apologies for the delayed response. The main support engineer for this device is out at the moment and this slipped through.
Is the main goal to operate the ADC as master? If so, it is my understanding that the ADC can only operate as master and output clocks on MPIO_C pins.

Hi Wiky,
An important thing to understand is that the Auxiliary inputs are designed to be driven in clock slave mode while all Auxiliary outputs can only operate in master mode. MPIO_B supports a special mode called 'External Slave ADC Input' though that sets the clocks to be outputs and the data to be an input. This is the mode you will want to use, and only MPIO_B supports this setting. You can configure this in register 0x6F by writing 101 to the MPBSEL bits. By default register 42 (ADCLK) is set to use XTI as the clock source so you should not need to adjust this.
