Part Number: TLV320ADC3140
For the single-ended input mode, could you please share the performance(SNR, DR and THD+N) at both 3.3V and 1.8V with me?The performance for the differential input mode is mentioned in TLV320ADC3140 data sheet as follows.
In the TLV320ADC5140 devices the noise contribution of the PGA is lower than the ADC so while the input signal decreases in magnitude by -6dB when going from DE to SE operation the SNR and THD only degrade by -2dB.
In a device without a PGA the performance would be expected to drop by approximately -6dB with the -6dB reduction in input swing.

In reply to Collin Wells:
Thank you for the information.
In reply to Sadanori Kato:
I would like to confirm just in case, but is my understanding correct that SNR, THD+N and DR would degrade by -2dB if using TLV320ADC3140 with the single-ended mode?
That is correct. We only had an ADC5140EVM-PDK available when your request came in but we made measurements on that board and saw the aforementioned -2dB reduction.
Thank you for your prompt reply.
If possible, could you please share the detailed measurement results in the the single-ended mode with me?
I can't guarantee we saved the plot from the measurements last week, but I will ask my colleague Zak to share it with you if we have it, or we can collect another next time we're in the lab in the upcoming days.
Thank you for your support.
There is no need to make additional measurements, but I would appreciate if Zak-san has the measured data and could share it with me.
