Part Number: TLV320ADC5140
My customer will use 2 TLV320ADC5140 in a TDM bus, which type TDM bus is your suggestion? Share TDM or Daisy Chain TDM?
What’s difference between Share TDM and Daisy Chain TDM? Strength or weakness?
Another question, why do BCLK & FSYNC exchange on U4 in below diagram ?
As far as Share TDM or Daisy Chain, it depends on the processor's capability to drive the bus given the length of the bus and its capacitance. Daisy Chaining narrows the length of the bus between devices, and thus lowers the bus capacitance since only two devices are connected. Share TDM will have higher bus capacitance and longer length since all devices are connected to the bus and runs through the length of all devices.
Thanks for pointing out the figure. This is an error on the diagram.The following figure corrects the swap of FSYNC and BCLK on U4.
