TPA3007D1: the meaning of "21-V compliant"

Part Number: TPA3007D1

Hi,

I'd like to know the meaning of "21V Compliant" on page3 of TPA3007 D/S.

Does it mean that there is some specific standard and TPA3007 is compliant with it?
Or does it simply mean that /SHUTDOWN pin can accept 21V as the absolute max?

Sincerely

Go

  • Hi,

This means the /SHUTDOWN pin is a high voltage pin that can stand the same voltage with PVCC supply. You may refer to the EC table at the top of Page 4. It says for abs max, PVCC can stand 21V and /SHUTDOWN pin can stand from -0.3V to PVCC+0.3V.

    Thanks!

    Regards,

    Sam
