TAS5825M: inquire PPC3 setting for mono 1.1

Hi TI experts,

My customer plan to design Mono 1.1 BT speaker. In the PPC3 TAS5825M section, speaker configuration selected Mono 1.1.

Can Woofer and Twwter be controlled separately for the Equalizer function in the audio processing area?

The woofer and tweeter areas are not divided as shown in the picture below.

In stereo mode, it was confirmed that EQ can be adjusted respectively left and right.

Please check it.

    Hi Kim,

    1.1 means woofer and tweeter are divided by frequency rather than channel. Hence, please check with customer why they need they need to adjust EQ respectively left and right.

    Hi Alix,

    I got understand that in Mono 1.1, the EQ adjustment for each channel is not available. The customer wants to adjust the gain according to the frequency band of Woofer and tweeter.

    1. Where can I check the frequency of the tweeter and woofer in mono 1.1 of PPC3?

    2. If you need to adjust the EQ, is the only way to work with stereo?

    Hi Kim,

    You can check the crossover of woofer and tweeter tap to see how you configure the Woofer band and tweeter band.

     As to the second question, PPC3 has common EQ for both tweeter and woofer for tuning. You do not need to swtich to stereo.
