We are looking at cross reference requirements for the AK4649 for both commercial and automotive applications. What CODEC can TI recommend as a replacement or upgrade?

    The TLV320AIC3100 is a 1-Channel (Mono), 91dB SNR ADC, 2-Channel (Stereo), 95dB SNR DAC CODEC and is going to be a good replacement for AK4696.

    The TLV320AIC3120 is offers an enhanced version of the TLV320AIC3100 by including a programmable miniDSP for more audio processing capability.

    There is no automotive qualified CODEC that has an integrated Class-D amplifier. The TLV320AIC3106-Q1 is going to be the best option for an automotive version of the TLV320AIC3100 and the TLV320AIC3254-Q1 for the TLV320AIC3120.
