PCM3168A: OVF dosen't work in TDM mode

In my case, the PCM3168A works in stand alone, when FMT(pin 42) set to low, it works is PCM mode,the OVF(pin 5) wokrs;

while when FMT set to TDM mode, the OVF doesn't works any more.

my question is: is there any way to active the OVF function?

We will take an EVM to the lab next week and try to reproduce your results.

Does this occur only when in hardware control mode? can you test it with software controlled mode?

Thanks for your replay.

I never tried software controlled mode, because there's no software engineer in my company.

If the software mode can solve this problem, I can set it in software mode and ask somebody code it.
