PCM5102A: Use VNEG pin to power filter's opamp

Hi,

I'm adding an active filter at the output of a PCM5102A.

Can I use the AVDD pin (3.3v) with the VNEG pin (-3.3v) to power the opamp?

Hi Gabriel,

I do not recommend that they use the VNEG pin for external components. The charge-pump has very limited current capability, and is the limiting factor in this device's output load impedance limits. It can only source/sink a few milliamperes.
