Hi,

Miswriting occurs when writing to page4 registers after the page switch from Page0 to Page4.

This miswriting does not occur if we wait over 4ms after switching the page.

Is there any restriction when writing to page4 registers?

Hello Kuramochi,

Does this behavior occur directly after power-up? There is a newly discovered requirement to wait 10ms after power-up before writing to some of the higher page# registers.

They write into registers after 5sec from the power supply turns on.

Does it mean that we should wait 10ms just before writing to some of the higher page# registers?

(Is power-up timing related to this?)

Hi Kuramochi-san,

To clarify, the 10ms wait time needs to occur after the device is woken up from sleep mode, not just after power up. It recommended to wait 10ms when writing registers that configure the channel gain, digital volume, DRE/AGC, or when writing any registers on pages other than page 0.

1. After waking up

2. Before writing on pages other than page 0

Hi Kuramochi-san,

No, the delay is only necessary after wake-up. It is not required when switching pages.

If there is no delay time, what can be happened?

Hey Kuramochi-san,

The delay time is required because of the device memory initialization after wake-up. Any registers that are tied to SRAM memory locations inside the device may become reinitialized within the 10ms wake-up time and so values written to them may be ignored and will need to be written again.
