Clock Pro Problem with CDCEL925

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CDCEL925

I'm using your Jupiter EVM with a soldered on cdcel925 device, in pass through programming mode to a device (cdcel925) on my board, with TI Clock Pro programming/development software (Version 1.2). The default clock source for your software is a crystal. We are using an oscillator instead, so I want to set the “Signal Source” in the software to LVCMOS. I can do this and write to the device ok, however when I do a “Read from Device”, it changes it back to “Crystal”. Also, when I do a “Save Setup” (with LVCMOS as the signal source), then do a “Load Setup”, it comes back as “Crystal”. Any Ideas?

Thanks, Miker

  • Hello Mike,

I tried this out in the lab and I can reproduce it. After some initial tests it seems to me this is a display bug. The bit is set in the device. I will check on a workaround until we can provide an update. Thanks for sharing this find!

    Best regards,
