CDCM6208: CDCM6208 I2C timing

Part Number: CDCM6208

Hi Clocking team,

I have a question about CDCM6208 I2C timing.

could you let me know the wait time after I2C data is written and then reflect it to CDCM6208? or if CDCM6208 sends ACK, I2C data is already reflected to CDCM6208?

What want to do here is after I2C data sends, turn "SYNC" to high to output but there is no any timing requirement of I2C data reflection in datasheet so I want to know it.

regards,

kai

  • Hi kai,

From datasheet section 9.2.2.9: "The first rising edge of the outputs is therefore approximately 15 ns to 20 ns delayed from the
    SYNC pin assertion."

Depending on the I2C data written, you may need to first re-calibrate the PLL prior to issuing SYNC. See datasheet section 8.3.3 for more info on VCO calibration.

    I hope this information helps

    Kind regards,
    Lane
