LMX2595: LMX2595

Part Number: LMX2595
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: MSP430F5529, USB2ANY

Hello Sir,Ma'am

I have a problem regarding the microcontroller. And the interface of that IC. To program the Fractional n divider which controller we have to use so we can get different frequencies.

and the interface to give the output to other system. So please mention that what is code for that and the controller also

  • Hello Pranit,

Any microcontroller which supports SPI interfacing will be able to program the LMX2595. The datasheet includes a complete register map, pinout description and timing diagram for SPI transactions. It also includes programming instructions.

  • hello Sir

Thanks for the quick reply . Sir according to your guidance I have searched many micro contollers having SPI interface. as I have to programme the fractional n divider which is of 32 bit so I think i need 32 bit micro controller . But I am unable to select any one microcontoller so will you please suggest MU which is suitable for the interface so I can proceed with my project.

  • Hello Pranit,

I apologize, the thread slipped off the radar when the question became resolved. Usually the SPI peripheral in a microcontroller can send data of arbitrary length in a transaction, so the controller does not necessarily need to be 32-bit.

We typically use the USB2ANY peripheral to program LMK and LMX devices, which includes an MSP430F5529 16-bit microcontroller.

    Regards,
