I am looking for gate switch, either single pole or double pole, capable of independently switching at a frequency up to 1kHz?


I have 3.3 volts dc supply with which to drive the switch but need it to be capable of the isolated switching of 15 volts dc.

  • Hi Christopher,

    You will find that TI's analog switches are typically capable of switching a 1 kHz signal.

    Though TI offers switches that support input voltage beyond supply, such as TMUX1574, the maximum I/O voltage TMUX1574 can support is VDD x 2. The maximum VDD TMUX1574 can support is 5.5V.

    Most of TI's analog switches support a maximum I/O voltage up to the switch's supply voltage. In order to switch a signal of 15V, you will need to choose a switch that supports higher VDD and I/O voltage, such as a switch in the TMUX61xx family (depending on the configuration and channels needed).

    What is your application and end equipment where you need to switch an I/O voltage much larger than your supply?
