Part Number: LMX2615-SP
We have a need to replace and upgrade a design based on the, now obsolete, ADI (Hittite) HMC-C070. In looking at the LMX2615-SP, the one feature it seems to be missing for our application is the ability to generate frequency ramps. Can you confirm this isn't possible with this device?
And while I see this feature in other devices (eg LMX2595) there doesn't appear to be any space rated / Rad-Hard offerings - is this correct?
Thanks ... Jim
Yes, this is correct the LMX2615-SP does not offer the ramp feature.
We are glad that we were able to resolve this issue, and will now proceed to close this thread.

In reply to Vibhu Vanjari:
Thanks Vibhu, so the TI automatic ramp feature is not within this device. But is there any other way (eg sequentially loading registers) to obtain a smooth ramp?
And 2nd question, are there any other TI PLL offerings that have the ability to generate a ramp, and are also space rated / Red-Hard?
In reply to Jim Grimes:
The ramp feature both manual and automatic is not available. An alternative could be using the full assist mode to reduce calibration time, this may not be the smoothest ramp.
Unfortunately we do not have a TI PLL that has the ramp function that is also space grade.
