Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LMX2492
I have a test setup where I am using an expensive Keysight equipment to input a clock signal into testing setup. This is so we can modify the clock jitter and see the results. We want to replace this with a cheaper, scaleable option that can input a clock signal into our setup, with the ability of controllable phase modulation at the output.
Our other requirements:
- Can support 156.25MHz output frequency
- Can support 10MHz phase modulation frequency
- Clock output is square wave preferably
- Software programmable
We were considering the LMX2492 eval board, so is this a good fit? is there another better solution?
