Part Number: CDCI6214
I'm using CDCI6214 as clock synthesizer or clock distributor. The I2C interface of the CDCI6214 is connected to onboard MCU.We need to change some operational parameters of CDCI6214 according to an external request. The mode of operation shall be as following: power-on the CDCI6214 and after loading the registers from EEPROM, modify the registers. Can I change the operational parameters of the CDCI6214 online without saving the register values in EEPROM?
Yes, you can boot up in EEPROM and change registers without saving to EEPROM. Just make sure to boot up in EEPROM page 1 to enable I2C.
EEPROM page 0 has I2C interface disabled.
Thanks and regards,
