Hi All

Recently I had to reinstall windows. After I reinstalled windows I installed TICS PRO + Matlab run time environment and tried to open the project file (.tcs) file which was generated using the same version of TICS PRO but before reinstallation.

While opening the file I get an error window as shown in image below.

I am able to save and reopen TCS files created using current TICS PRO software. But I am unable to open older tcs files. (its the same TICS PRO version)

More Info : the files are for TI-PLL LMK05028. The project files are enabled in SPI mode. I tried editing the I2C length manually but that also didnt help.

Are you able to upload one of the TCS files that doesn't work? We need this to be able to reproduce the issue.

Hi Arun,

Thanks for uploading the TCS file. It appears at some point you opened this file with a text editor that defaulted to Unix-style line endings `\n`, vs Windows-style line endings `\r\n`. To fix this issue, replace each instance of `\n` character in the file with `\r\n`, either by using a text editor to save the file with Windows-style line endings, or by programmatically replacing the altered line endings.

I have uploaded your file saved with Windows-style line endings for comparison. This should work with your copy of TICS Pro.

Since it is irritating that TICS Pro cannot handle the seemingly trivial case of line endings becoming modified, I will add this to the buglist. The next release should handle Unix or Windows style line endings.
