Hello Ehud,
Please reference this document for more information on programming chirp: Programming Chirp Parameters
The ramping timing calculator in the mmWave Studio tool will also provide you the right timing parameter value recommendations. This software is located here: mmWave Studio Tool

Hi
I want to know if LMX2492EVM is technically capable of generating a sweep in the frequency of 3GHz to 3.5GHz.
I emphasize that I use the evaluation board: LMX2492EVM, it has a VCO of 9.4-10.8GHz.
Can this EVM be configured to output 3-3.5GHz in spite of its VCO frequencies?
if so, how should it be configured via the TICSPRO-SW?
Thank you,
Ehud.
Noel Hi
much thanks.
can you please suggest a VCO which is pin-compatible which covers that frequency,
thanks again
Ehud
Hello Ehud,
TI does not supply VCO only devices.
A possible replacement is using the LMX2572. The LMX2572 supports the ramp and chirp functions and has a VCO with a frequency range of 3.2 GHz to 6.4 GHz.
