Hi Team,

Our customer would like to know what our design team has done to test and find out what provides the very best phase noise, in terms of external reference, internal loop frequency etc. in this EVM?

 Is there any limitation to how high external reference oscillator you can have?

    Hi Jonathan,

    During characterization, we used 100MHz and 200MHz Wenzel clock as the reference to LMX2820. The Wenzel clock is well known for extremely low phase noise so so it won't affect the close-in noise measurement.
