LMK04828: If 560 ohm is missing

Hello,

Please let us know what happens if 560ohm is missing from the Figure 31 below.

If external 100 ohm termination is placed on the LMK04828 side of the AC-coupling capacitors, is it not necessary to use 560 ohm as shown below?

Hi JH,

The 560Ω resistor in Figure 31 is needed in order to provide a DC path for LVDS or HSDS output. Without this resistor, the output performance may not consistent.

In the case of Figure 30, is a 560 ohm resistor required?

Hi JH,

In Figure 30, there is a 100Ω resistor, which has provided the DC path for LVDS/HSDS already.
