I need single-ended output, how to deal with the unused output differential pin?

  • Since the output is a differential driver, the load to each pin should be identical in order to keep both output pins balance. As such, if only one of the pins is used, the complement pin cannot be left open, it should be terminated at the same load impedance as the used pin. If the output is an open drain driver, then both pins should be pull-up in the same manner.
