NE555: NE555 work as a handshake singnal

Part Number: NE555

Dear Expert

Now we wanna us NE555 work as a handshake singnal what is 0-3.3V voltage lever ,frequece offset  within 10%  .

1.We use 5V Vcc sulpply ,means we could have 3.3V high lever output ?

2.We wanna control the output turn on or off , so we control the Reset pin ,through this parameter ,>1V reset pin mears logic high?

3.this is our block diagram ,does this fuction could be work?

  • Hello,

I have simulated this scenario with the reset pin pulled up to 3.3V. The simulation can be found at the bottom of this post. I pull it low with a switch to 0V at t = 5ms and then pulled back up high to 3.3V at t = 7ms. From the simulation below you can see the desired function. The output will typically be at 3.3V under the specified test conditions in the datasheet. Specifically a supply voltage of 5V and output current of 100mA. A logic high is above 1V.
