LMK05318: Output configuration

Part Number: LMK05318

Hi Team,

My customer would like to know how to configure CH6 as 1.8V CMOS single-end output?

The VDDO is 3.3V in SCH.

Thanks a lot.

  • Hello Vincent,

All CMOS options are single ended outputs. The question is what they would like to have happen to the n side of the channel, if they're using p-side, and alternatively they can choose to just use the n-side.

    • CMOS (+/-), CMOS (-/+), CMOS(+/+) and CMOS (-/-) : implies p and n channel active. Option to have complimentary (180 degree phase shifted) or in phase. Also option on which channel starts high first and vice versa.
    • CMOS (+/HiZ), CMOS(-/HiZ), CMOS(HiZ/+), and CMOS(HiZ/-): are all with one side of the channel active and the other side in high impedance state, not active. Option to select whether that's n side or p side and whether it starts high or low.
    • CMOS (hiZ/hiZ) and CMOS (low/low): no active output. Essentially channel is disabled and powered down.

CMOS support is only 1.8V on LMK05318 irrelevant of whether Vddo = 3.3 or Vddo = 1.8.

  • Hi Amin,

Got it, thanks very much for your detail description.
