Hi. I have fabricated LMX2615 and interfaced it with Refpro Board. Initially I got the output well. But later on after few days there was no output. I have monitored the voltage levels through out the board and every thing is fine but only at one pin that is mainly on CSB pin. The Voltage is 0.017V instead 3.3V. Could anyone please help me to debug the issue. The spi Lines I have connected are SDI, SCK, CSB, GND.

Hi Singam,

Could you compare the SPI signals with and without the LMX2615 board having connected to Ref PRO? In other words, measure the SPI signals (with a scope) from the Ref PRO board: (1) without connection to the LMX2615 board and (2) when it is connected to the LMX2615 board.

Do I need to write the register values and monitor the spi lines on scope. Will it display I mean specifically the data, as the data on SDI pin transfers at very high CLK speed, Moreover I have monitored the voltage on chip select pin, which was very less to enable LMX2615.

Hi Singam,

Right, write a register and capture the waveforms. CSB waveform is a series of pulse, we should not monitor this pin with a DVM, we should use a scope to measure the waveform.
