My customer is using TLV320ADC3120 with LMX2571 I2S FSK mode.

TLV320ADC3120 can adjust the word length  to 16bit. Also LMX2571 input is 16bit.

However, they are considering replacement from  TLV320ADC3120 to PCM1821, due to WW IC supply reason.

PCM1821 is fixed 32bit  word length.

Can LMX2571 ignore Bits over 16bit, if  they will input 32bit data?

Is it any problem LMX2571 and PCM1821 usecase?
